Sign-ups are here. We are a little behind this season, so anyone interested in signing up for the Q3 iGames Ladders should hop on into the store and get their team or themselves signed up. The iGames Halo 3 Ladder is a game center based ladder competition, competing against some of the best teams from around the nation. This season there will be over $2500+ in cash and prizes awarded to the participating teams. This is one of the best times at CPG to meet new people and participate in a great event where everyone loves what you love, Halo 3! Due to the crunched time frame, we are going to skip our normal introductory week and do what we would normally do on the intro night on the preseason night.
So the first day will be, July 10th. All CPG registrations should be completed and turned in prior to that date.

alright cool sounds good. Do you think i could sign up with my friend but try and recruit whoever signs up single? its just us now and we need two more.. i have no clue how to obtain people though.

If you do not have a complete team, sign up as a single. We have had alot of people who have asked about singles, but everyone feels discouraged....I think it is because they are a little nervous about playing with people they do not know. As you know, one of the best parts of the ladder nights is getting to know new people who love the same game as you.
Sign up! I assure you, we will do our best to get you matched up. If you have more people that would like to play, have them sign up too. When we get a few days before the final registration date I will call everyone if I can get an entire team together.

Is registration still open for the Halo Ladder?
Also, i was wondering if every team member has to come in to sign up, and when the tournaments are held(to know if there is conflict with my work sched).

just to help you quickly tournaments are ever thursday so when your in it just make it a every week request off thing. and i am pretty sure you missed the sign ups. Deadline was July 10th sorry you missed it. I did too, i didnt have enough people but the seasons just keep coming so get your team ready and sign up next openings.

Next season will open up for signups in late August/early September.
It should be noted that these are ladders and not tournaments. A ladder is an ongoing event, much like a baseball season. You will play many games and your weekly participation will have large impacts on your ranks.
It is a great time and a great way to meet other people who enjoy Halo.
To answer you questions, yes everyone on the team must be registered, including your backups.

Some of the best teams in the nation? Ever heard of Major League Gaming, where they give out 250,000 dollar contracts to top teams? Highly doubt any mlg teams would hear of this or bother attending.
anyways, ill probably get some of my friends i know in rl and online to come.
How long will the "season" last? Might conflict with work schedules. And could you explain how the season's games work? Settings used, best out of 3, losers bracket, things like that

... Its a ladder there is no losers bracket. You just go, play teams, report the scores, then rinse and repeat. I imagine the team with the best record would win. |
