We have been working hard to put together some fun events centered around specific games in response to many requests. There will be serveral aspects to the development of our Halo 3 nights including, mini-tournaments, iGames Ladders and progression towards developing teams for GamersTour and MLG. Our participation in GamersTour and MLG will depend on the overall participation in the Halo 3 game nights throughout the first half of 2008.
Starting January 10th, 2008, we will begin holding Halo 3 nights every Thursday at 5:30 PM.Halo 3 LaddersRegistration for the Halo 3 ladders will begin January 10th at our first official Halo 3 night. The ladders are team based and will require a minimum of 4 people on a team. You will be competing with 50 other centers around the nation for prizes in excess of $1500. The current ladder occuring is worth $2500, so as you can see the amount can go up substantially.
I suggest that each team have at least one back up person in case someone is sick or cannot make the event. Your weekly participating will dramatically effect your overall rank in the ladders. So be prepared to come every week. We will require a $12 team registration fee and the event will cost $7 per person each week. This will cover your facility time for your ladder matches. Scheduled Ladders will range from 6:00PM-9:00PM. There will be some wait time while matches are being setup. The wait times will be great opportunities to practice and meet other Halo 3 players from the Rockford Area.

This tour begins this year, and Crazy Penguins Gaming has been invited to join the tour schedule. We will be looking to sign on board with GamersTour later in the year. The top teams from Crazy Penguins Gaming involved in GamersTour will be reviewed for MLG sponsorship.
The GamersTour events boast over $30,000 in prizes annually.We hope to see you on December 10th as we launch this new and exciting event at Crazy Penguins Gaming.
